Bei einen Live Sewalong bei Anna von Einfach nähen habe ich die Kleidermacherin Katrin aus Österreich  erlebt und war sehr angetan von Ihr. Ich habe dann mal auf ihrer Website geschmökert und den Tüllrock als Sommerrock gesehen. Das Video war sehr gut erklärt so das ich dachte das könnte ich schaffen.  Vor solchen Röcken habe ich sehr großen Respekt. Also habe ich mir das Nähpaket bei der Kleidermacherin bestellt. Es lag bestimmt seit Anfang März bei mir rum, da ich mich nicht so ran getraut habe. Am Donnerstag wo es hier geregnet hat, habe ich endlich an den Zuschnitt des Rocks ran gewagt. Und was soll ich Euch sagen, es hat so gut geklappt durch das tolle Video, das ich den Rock innerhalb von zwei Tagen fertig hatte. Er gefällt mir sehr gut ich fühle mich richtig wohl damit. Das soll bei mir schon viel heißen, ich mag eigentlich lieber Hosen. Das wird nicht der letzte Sommerrock von Katrin sein. Der Stoff ist ein super schöner Viscosestoff der sich sehr gut vernähen ließ. Ich bin sehr glücklich mit meinem neuen Lieblingsstück. Ich wünsche Euch einen schönen Abend. Lieben Gruß 

At a live Sewalong at Anna of Einfach nähen I have experienced the dress maker Katrin from Austria and was very taken by her. I have then times on their website browse and seen the tulle skirt as a summer skirt. The video was very well explained so that I thought I could do it.  I have a lot of respect for such skirts. So I ordered the sewing kit from the dress maker. It was certainly since the beginning of March with me around, because I have not dared so ran. Die Bluse die ein Jahr dauerte/The blouse that lasted a year

Ich bin nicht so der Blusenfreund. Im letzen Jahr in der Zeitschrift Fibre Mood hatte ich eine schöne Bluse Indira gesehen, die mir gefallen hatte. Also Stoff bei Juni Design besorgt, Knöpfe bei Werken, Spielen, Schenken besorgt und los ging es an der Nähmaschine. Alles soweit fertig gestellt, dann haben mir die Manschetten nicht gefallen und ich habe für den Kragen eine zu feste Vlieseline genommen und so blieb das Teil liegen. Eigentlich wollte ich die Bluse für den Urlaub auf Sylt haben. Die Knöpfe hätten dazu sehr gut gepasst. Das hatte sich dann erledigt. Irgendwann am Anfang dieses Jahres fiel mir die Bluse wieder in die Hände. Da habe ich dann folgende Änderungen gemacht, ich habe die Manschetten abgetrennt und die Bluse ohne diese fertig gestellt.Einfach nur den Saum umgenäht.  An Blusen schneide ich mir die immer die Manschetten ab,  da ich mich damit nicht wohl fühle. Dann habe ich die Bluse noch etwas enger gemacht, und schon gefällt sie mir besser und ich fühle darin wohl. 

Freunde werden Blusen und ich aber nicht wirklich. Ob ich mir diese noch einmal nähen werde weiß ich nicht so genau. Die Chance ist nicht so groß -;)). Ich fand die Anleitung in der Fibre Mood auch nicht so gut, ich hatte da so meine Schwierigkeiten. Aber das ist mein Empfinden.

Das Fotoshooting war etwas aufwendig, da wir in unserer Wohnung kleine  Umräum- und Aufbauarbeiten gemacht haben. Da das Wetter nun hoffentlich bald besser wird, kann das mit den Bildern machen schneller gehen.

I am not so the blouse friend. Last year in the magazine Fibre Mood I had seen a beautiful blouse Indira, which I liked. So fabric at Juni Design procured, buttons at Werken, Spielen, Schenken and off it went at the sewing machine. Everything so far finished, then I did not like the cuffs and I took a too firm fleece line for the collar and so the part remained. Actually, I wanted to have the blouse for the vacation on Sylt. The buttons would have fit very well. That had then settled. Sometime at the beginning of this year, the blouse fell into my hands again. Then I made the following changes, I cut off the cuffs and finished the blouse without them.Just sewn around the hem.  At blouses I cut me the always the cuffs off, because I do not feel comfortable with it. Then I made the blouse a little tighter, and already I like it better and feel comfortable in it. 

However, blouses and I don't really become friends. Whether I will sew me this again I do not know so exactly. The chance is not so great -;)). I found the instructions in the Fibre Mood also not so good, I had my difficulties. But that is my feeling.

The photo shoot was a bit time-consuming, because we did some small rearrangements and setups in our apartment. Since the weather will hopefully be better soon, the pictures can be taken faster.

Jahresprojekt März 2021

Da hab ich mir ja etwas eingebrockt. Es ist ganz und gar nicht gut, solch ein Projekt fast 1 1/2 Jahre auf Halde liegen zu lassen. Inzwischen hab ich viel über Patchwork gelesen und mir andere Näh- und Bügeltechniken angewöhnt. Ich konnte mich auch nicht mehr so gut erinnern, wie ich die einzelnen Dreiecke zusammen genäht habe, welche Nahtzugabe. Also es hat mich einige Nerven und neue Nähte gekostet. Daraus habe ich gelernt, das obere Teil immer erst fertig nähen, danach kann man es erst mal liegen lassen. Nein, ich mag eigentlich keine UFO`s. Das hat sich einfach so ergeben, dass dann keine Zeit mehr dafür war, es ist ja nicht so wichtig. Ausreden über Ausreden. Es ist so wie es ist und heute kann ich Euch meine fast fertige obere Seite zeigen. Es fehlt noch ein Randstreifen, dann muss ich mir ein Fließ besorgen und werde dann mit der Rückseite beginnen. Aber erst mal bin ich froh, dass ich es soweit hin bekommen habe. Bisher gefällt mir der Quilt ganz gut. Ich habe die Dreiecke nach keiner Reihenfolge zusammen genäht. Dies würde ich beim nächsten Mal sehr wahrscheinlich ändern.                Nun wünsche ich Euch einen schönen Mittwoch Abend.                                                        Lieben Gruß Sylvia

I've got myself into a bit of a mess. It's not at all good to leave such a project on hold for almost 1 1/2 years. In the meantime I read a lot about patchwork and got used to other sewing and ironing techniques. I also couldn't remember very well how I sewed the individual triangles together, which seam allowance. So it cost me some nerves and new seams. From this I learned, always finish sewing the top part first, then you can leave it for now. No, I don't really like UFO's. It just happened that there was no time for it, it is not so important. Excuses over excuses. It is as it is and today I can show you my almost finished upper side. There is still a border strip missing, then I have to get a flow and then I will start with the back side. But for now, I'm happy that I've gotten it this far. So far I like the quilt quite a bit. I didn't sew the triangles together in any order. I would most likely change this next time. Das Frühlingshirt von Lillesol und Pelle / The

Was ich Moment sehr schön finde sind Nähpakete. Solch eins habe ich bei Lillesol und Pelle ergattert. Ich liebe Streifen, egal ob in bunt, blau, oder wie hier in rot. Den Schnitt für das Frühlingshirt lag dabei und so konnte ich los legen. Das ist ein Schnitt welches ich noch öfter nähen werden. Zum ersten Mal habe ich einen Stoff von Swafing vernäht und ich bin sehr begeistert. Das Shirt wird ein Lieblingsstück bei mir werden. Ich habe am Schnitt nicht viel geändert und es in Größe 44 genäht.

What I find very nice moment are sewing kits. Such one I got hold of Lillesol and Pelle. I love stripes, whether in colorful, blue, or as here in red. The pattern for the spring shirt was included and so I could start. This is a cut which I will sew more often. For the first time I have sewn a fabric from Swafing and I am very excited. The shirt will become a favorite piece with me. I didn't change much on the cut and sewed it in size 44.

Eine Softshellweste / A Softshellweste

                                                 

Da wir in diesem Jahr wohl nicht in Urlaub fahren werden, wird es mehr Touren per Fahrrad ins Umland geben. Da ich meine vor Jahren gekaufte Softshellweste nun endlich geschafft habe, musste eine neue her. Den Stoff habe ich bei Alles für Selbermacher, gekauft. Leider habe ich zu wenig Stoff bestellt. Zum Glück hatte ich noch etwas Stoff vom letzten Jahr von der Weste von meinen Mann in dunkelblau da. Diesen habe ich für die Seitenteile und den Kragen genutzt. Der Schnitt ist Judy von Pattydoo. Pünktlich zu unserer ersten längeren Tour heute mit dem Rad ist sie nun fertig geworden. Aber ich habe Nerven gelassen. Manchmal war ich doch mehr abgelenkt als das ich beim Nähen war. Da war der Trenner mein bester Freund. Mit dem Falzgummi hatte ich auch noch so meine Freude. Aber die Mühe hat sich gelohnt. So nun wünsche ich Euch einen schönen Abend und einen guten Start in die neue Woche.

Since we will probably not go on vacation this year, there will be more tours by bike into the surrounding countryside. Since I finally made my softshell vest bought years ago, had to get a new one. The fabric I bought at Alles für Selbermacher,. Unfortunately, I ordered too little fabric. Fortunately, I still had some fabric from last year from the vest of my husband in dark blue there. This I used for the side panels and the collar. The cut is Judy from Pattydoo. Just in time for our first longer tour today with the bike she is now finished. But I have kept my nerve. Sometimes I was distracted but more than that I was sewing. There the separator was my best friend. With the folding rubber I had also still so my joy. But the effort was worth it. Die Bluse Fleur B von B-Patterns

Am letzten Sonntag habe ich an einem Livesewalong mit Anna von Einfach und mit Ingrid von B-Patterns teilgenommen und die Bluse Fleur B genäht. Das Schnittmuster ist einfach, sogar die Schienennaht war kein Problem. Das Nähen mit  Anna und Ingrid hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht auch wenn ich nicht mit gekommen bin.  Dafür habe ich es mir dann später erneut angesehen und dabei die Bluse fertig genäht. Der Stoff ist eine Viskose von Pepelinchen. Die Bluse ist in Größe L genäht. Dafür dass ich so etwas zum ersten Mal versucht habe bei einem Livesewalong mit zu nähen, war es ein sehr schöne Sache und die Bluse gefällt mir sehr gut. Am längsten haben die Bilder gedauert. Dafür brauchten wir Zeit, die hatten wir heute und so kommt endlich der Post.

Last Sunday I participated in a livesewalong with Anna from Einfach and with Ingrid from B-Patterns and sewed the Fleur B blouse. The pattern is simple, even the rail seam was no problem. Sewing with Anna and Ingrid was a lot of fun even if I did not come along.  For that I watched it again later and finished sewing the blouse. The fabric is a viscose fabric from Pepelinchen. The blouse is sewn in size L. For the fact that I tried to sew something like this for the first time at a livesewalong, it was a very nice thing and I like the blouse very much.

Zwei Hoodi Jacken für meinen Mann

Dies ist der erste Streich

 Wie ich schon berichtet habe, wollte mein Mann statt einen Hoodi, lieber Jacken haben. Zwei Jacken sind bereits seit einer Weile fertig, er hat diese Jacken bereits oft angehabt, aber irgendwie habe ich es nicht geschafft zu posten.

Der Schnitt ist der Hoodi Emil von Schnittmuster Berlin, hier habe ich einfach am Vorderteil keinen Bruch gelegt, also das Schnittteil auf die offene Kante gelegt und einen Reißverschluss eingenäht. Damit es innen am Reißverschluss gut aussieht habe ich hier noch einen Beleg eingenäht. Die Stoffe sind alle von Pepelinchen. Mein Mann ist sehr begeistert von dem Stoff und der Jacke. Über die tolle Stoffqualität ist er immer wieder begeistert. Bei der ersten Jacke fehlte mir bei der Kapuze noch Stoff, ich habe beim zuschneiden leider nicht aufgepasst. Da musste ich noch schwarzen Stoff nach bestellen. Bei der zweiten klappte alles schon viel besser. Für eine Jacke habe ich noch Stoff da, mal sehen, wann ich das schaffe.  As I've reported before, instead of a hoodi, my husband wanted jackets instead. Two jackets are already finished for a while, he has already had these jackets on many times, but somehow I have not managed to post.

The cut is the Hoodi Emil from Schnittmuster Berlin, here I just did not put a break at the front part, so I put the cut part on the open edge and sewed in a zipper. So that it looks good on the inside of the zipper I have sewn here still a slip. The fabrics are all from Pepelinchen. My husband is very excited about the fabric and the jacket. He is always thrilled about the great fabric quality. With the first jacket I was still missing fabric at the hood, I have unfortunately not paid attention when cutting. Die Bilder hat mein Mann gemacht

Ich habe mal etwas ausprobiert, wovon ich noch nicht so überzeugt bin. Das Shirt Barbara von Schnittmuster Berlin durfte bei mir einziehen. Das ist ein Shirt aus Jersey und Webware. Den Stoff gab es als Stoffpaket bei Pepelinchen . Eine sehr schöne Idee, die mir gefällt. Stoff ist in ausreichender Menge beigelegt und ebenfalls das Nähgarn. Verpackt ist das alles in einem sehr schönen Stoffbeutel. Trotz meiner Befürchtigungen ließ sich der Jersey und die Webware sehr gut mit einander verarbeiten. Es sieht,  finde ich auch gut aus. Ich weiß nur noch nicht so genau, ob ich mich damit so wohlfühle. Das Shirt hatte ich eine kurze Zeit an Silvester an. Ich muss es länger anhaben, da werde ich sehen, ob es mir gefällt und vorallen, ob ich mich wohlfühle. Das Shirt ist in der Größe 44 genäht, kleiner hätte es auch nicht sein dürfen. Am Anfang dachte ich noch, das wird mir bestimmt zu weit. Mir gefallen die Schnitte und Anleitungen von Schnittmuster Berlin sehr gut. Es gibt auf der Internetseite eine bebilderte Anleitung. Es wird auch nicht das letzte Stoffpaket bei Pepelinchen für mich sein. Die Barbara werde ich noch einmal machen, dann aber nur einen Jerseystoff nehmen.  I have times something tried, of which I am not yet so convinced. The shirt Barbara of Schnittmuster Berlin was allowed to move in with me. This is a shirt made of jersey and woven fabric. Fertig ist der Hoodi Emil von Schnittmuster Berlin,  für meinem Mann schon etwas länger. Inzwischen ist sogar fast die Hoodijacke fertig. Ich habe den Hoodi als Nähpaket bei Pepelinchen bestellt. Ich hatte immer noch großen Respekt, vor solchen Nähprojekten, vor allem, wenn ich für andere nähe, besonders für meinen  Mann. Er ist sehr kritisch und das ist für mich in Ordnung. Angezogen hat er ihn bisher nicht, er meint er muss erst mal wieder etwas Sport machen, was im Augenblick nicht so einfach ist. Beim Nähen habe ich wieder für mich, viele neue Techniken gelernt und angewandt. Meinen neuen Angstgegner, die Knopflöcher habe ich auch bewältigt. Ich bin schon ein wenig Stolz auf dieses Teil. Nun wünsche ich Euch noch eine schöne Zeit zwischen den Jahren.

Endlich ist meine neue Hose fertig. Ich hatte sie bereits an, da sind dann auch Fotos entstanden, die mein Mann gemacht hat.  Ich habe mir aus einen Stoff von Pepelinchen die Cargohose von Ki-Ba-Doo genäht. Bis auf die Seitentaschen habe ich alle Taschen weg gelassen, ich bin kein Freund von viel Taschen an einer Hose. Der Stoff ist ein Tencel Soft /Stretch Twill von Pepelinchen. Sehr schöner angenehmer Stoff, fusselt sehr beim nähen, aber tragen und das nähen war einfach ein tolles Gefühl. Der Schnitt ist einfach, die einzige Schwierigkeit die ich empfand war das Gummi im Hosenbein rein zu bekommen. Hier hat mir die Beschreibung erst nicht geholfen. Ich habe es einfach anders gemacht, und das klappte dann auch sehr gut. Ich habe nur einen Fehler gemacht, ich habe die Hose zu viel gekürzt. Dies würde ich auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Mal ändern. Es wird nicht die letzte Hose sein, da sie so super bequem ist. Ich wünsche Euch einen schönen dritten Advent. Lieben Gruß Sylvia

 

 

Finally my new pants are ready. I already had them on, there are then also photos taken by my husband.  I have sewn from a fabric of Pepelinchen the cargo pants of Ki-Ba-Doo. Except for the side pockets I have left out all pockets, I am not a friend of many pockets on a pair of pants. The fabric is a Tencel Soft /Stretch Twill from Pepelinchen. Very nice comfortable fabric, fuzzes a lot when sewing, but wearing it and sewing it was just a great feeling. The cut is simple, the only difficulty I felt was to get the rubber in the pant leg pure. This is where the description didn't help me at first. I just did it differently, and that worked out very well. I only made one mistake, I shortened the pants too much. This I would definitely change next time. Eine neue Tasche, die Annie von Pattydoo/ A new Bag, the Annie from Pattydoo

Seit August habe ich mir die Tasche Annie von Pattydoo zugeschnitten. Den Stoff, ein Canvas habe ich mir bei Pepelinchen gekauft. Dann kamen aber einige T-Shirts von uns beiden dazwischen, der Hoodi für meinen Mann, hier steht das Foto noch aus, so lag die angefangene Tasche dann ewig rum. Letzte Woche hatte ich die Zeit, Muße und Geduld und habe mich voller Elan ran gemacht. Das klappte auch alles sehr gut, bis ich dachte, ich bin fertig mit dem Reißverschluss und habe das Ende gekürzt. Das hätte ich nicht machen sollen. So lag die Tasche wieder auf Eis. In der Woche, nach Arbeit einen neuen Reißverschluss gekauft und am Freitagabend die Tasche fertig gestellt. Gestern hat mein Mann dann die Bilder gemacht. Und hier könnt Ihr sie nun sehen. Mir sind immer wichtig kleinen Innentaschen im Futter, diese habe ich mit einem Kam Snap versehen und ein Schlüsselband. So findet sich im Chaos meiner Tasche der Schlüssel einfach leichter. Das ist nun die zweite Tasche Annie, diesmal aus dem Canvas, gefällt mir besser als der Oilskin.

Bei der Anleitung habe ich manchmal etwas schwer getan, und es war ziemlich aufwendig, in andere Erklärvideos umzuzwitschen. Da war ich manchmal etwas blockiert. Ansonsten wird es wie immer gut von Ina erklärt.

So in the chaos of my bag the key is easier to find. This is now the second bag Annie, this time from the canvas, I like it better than the oilskin.

I sometimes had a hard time with the instructions, and it was quite complicated to switch to other explanatory videos. Sometimes I was a bit blocked. Apart from that it is explained well by Ina, as always.

Samstagsplausch 43/20 / Saturday Chat

 

 

 

 

 

Es ist Samstagsplauschzeit bei Andrea und nach einiger Zeit bin ich mal wieder dabei. Wobei zu berichten habe ich nicht viel. Nachdem ich mich am Samstag dem nähen meiner neuen Tasche gewidmet hatte und richtig gut beim einnähen des Reißer war und ich dann voller Elan den Reißverschluss gekürzt hatte, war das nähen Tasche erledigt. Dieser hätte nicht abgeschnitten werden sollen. Klasse. Die ganze Arbeit umsonst und noch viel schlimmer ich hatte keinen Ersatz vorzuliegen. So hatte sich das Taschennähen erstmal erledigt. Und ich hab noch so gedacht, klappt ja alles gut. Dann habe ich mit dem abpausen des Schnittes für meine Hose begonnen. Am Sonntag wollten wir einfach mal über das Land fahren, zum Spargelhof in Klaistow. Da es regnet, dachen wir, da ist nichts los. Schon auf der Autobahn hab ich zu meinen Mann gesagt, wow ist das voll hier. Und das war es dann auch im Spargelhof. Da waren wir dann fast gleich weg. Das war uns zu voll. Zumal dort keine Abstandsregelungen eingehalten worden. Montag und Dienstag waren normale Arbeitstag, Abends habe ich mir dann noch einen Reißer gekauft. Ab Mittwoch durfte ich zu Hause arbeiten. Eine Planung für das Wochenende gibt es nicht, ich werde den zweiten Versuch mit dem Reißer für die Tasche starten, einen Kuchen für uns backen und einfach nur ausruhen.

   It's saturday fun time with Andrea and after some time I'm back again. But I don't have much to report. After I had dedicated myself to sewing my new bag on Saturday and was really good at sewing in the ripper and then I had shortened the zipper full of verve, the sewing was done.  It should not have been cut off. Great. All the work for nothing and even worse I had no replacement to hand. So the sewing of the bag was done. And I still thought, everything is going well. Then I started to trace the cut for my trousers.                                                                                                                                    On Sunday we just wanted to drive across the country to the asparagus farm in Klaistow. Since it's raining, we thought, there's nothing going on. Already on the freeway I said to my husband, wow, it's full here. And that was it in the asparagus farm. Then we were almost immediately away. It was too crowded for us. Especially since there were no distance regulations.                  Monday and Tuesday were normal working days, in the evening I bought myself a ripper. On Wednesday I was allowed to work at home. There is no planning for the weekend, I will start the second try with the ripper for the bag, bake a cake for us and just rest.

Ein neues T-Shirt / A new T-Shirt

Vor einiger Zeit haben Marion (Kunzfrau) und ich bei Heike von Modewerkstatt einen Stoff gewonnen, meiner war rot/weiß. Kurz vor meinem Urlaub habe ich mir aus dem Burda Schnitt noch dieses T-Shirt genäht. Ich habe es in Größe 44 genäht. Ich bin noch nicht sicher, ob mir dieser Schnitt gefällt, ich werde es noch mal in einem anderen Stoff nähen. Auf jeden Fall ließ es sich bei der Hitze gut tragen und so sind dann auch endlich Tragefotos entstanden. Ich wollte die Bilder eigentlich direkt am See aufnehmen, aber es fing mit einem Mal am Sonntag zu regnen an, wie wir in Groß Schauen beim Fischer waren. So müssen diese Bilder reichen. Vielen Dank liebe Heike für diesen Stoffgewinn.

 Some time ago Marion (Kunzfrau) and I won a fabric at Heike von Modewerkstatt, mine was red/white. Shortly before my vacation I sewed this t-shirt from the Burda cut. I sewed it in size 44. I'm not sure yet if I like this cut, I will sew it again in a different fabric. In any case, it was easy to wear in the heat and so I finally got some pictures of wearing it. I actually wanted to take the pictures directly at the lake, but it started to rain one Sunday, when we were at the fisherman's place in Groß Schauen. So these pictures must be enough. Thank you very much dear Heike for this material gain.

Odette gleich viermal/Odette four times

 

auf Sylt hatten wir eine tolle Bühne für unsere Fotoshow

 Nach längerer Zeit melde ich mich mal wieder, wir haben einen super schönen Urlaub auf Sylt verleben können. Vor dem Urlaub habe ich es endlich geschafft das Shirt Odette aus der LMV (Ausgabe 3 2017) zu nähen, und das gleich viermal. So begeistert bin ich von den Schnitt. Ich verstehe, nicht, warum ich so lange gewartet habe, das Shirt zu nähen. Für die drei Shirts habe ich einen Melange Singl Jersey von Hamburger Liebe / Albstoffe   gekauft bei Seemannsgarn, genommen. Der Stoff ist super schön, lässt sich gut zu schneiden und sehr angenehm tragen. Ich habe im Urlaub eigentlich nur die vier Shirts angehabt, da die Wäsche der Shirts schnell ging und der Wind ein guter Trockner war.
Beim Schnitt werde ich nur an den Ärmeln etwas ändern. Das mit dem Umschlag gefällt mir nicht hundertprozentig. Ansonsten ist es für mich das perfekte Shirt.
Nun wünsche ich Euch einen schönen Sonntag. Startet gut in die neue Wochen.

After a long time I'll get in touch again, we had a great holiday on Sylt. Before the holiday I finally managed to sew the shirt Odette from the LMV (issue 3 2017), four times. That's how enthusiastic I am about the cut. I don't understand why I waited so long to sew the shirt. For the three shirts I used a Melange Singl Jersey from Hamburger Liebe / Albstoffe bought at Seemannsgarn. The fabric is super nice, easy to cut and very comfortable to wear. I actually only wore the four shirts during my holidays because the washing of the shirts was fast and the wind was a good dryer.
When cutting I will only change something on the sleeves. I do not like the envelope one hundred per cent. Otherwise it is the perfect shirt for me.
