Ich habe lange nichts mehr gepostet, was aber nicht heißt ich habe nichts genäht, gewebt oder erlebt. Durch meinen Job habe ich oft keine Lust mehr weiter am PC zu hängen, da war mir Insta einfach besser geeignet. Ich finde es aber auch wichtig, den Blog nicht so zu vernachlässigen, wie ich es letztes Jahr gemacht habe.

Heute kann ich Euch endlich meine beendete Quiltdecke zeigen. 2 1/2 Jahre habe ich daran gesessen und viele Fehler gemacht, aber soo viel gelernt. Der größte Fehler war gewesen, dass ich im August 2019 mit dem Zuschneiden und Nähen begonnen habe, aufgehört habe und nicht vermerkt habe,  wie viel meine Nahtzugaben betragen haben. Ich habe es so gut wie möglich hinbekommen und habe durch "das mache ich nachts" und "piecestopatch", alles über Youtube, ganz viel gelernt. Die Decke wird nun geliebt, gekuschelt und gewaschen und so soll es sein. -;))

Die Stoffe sind alle von Patch-It, ich habe noch einige Stoffe übrig, da werde ich dann Kissenhüllen von fertigen. Ich hoffe diese dauern nicht wieder so lange.

Nun wünsche ich Euch einen schönen Nachmittag, ich gehe jetzt zum Webrahmen und webe mein Küchenhandtuch zu ende.

I have long nothing more posted, but that does not mean I have nothing sewn, woven or experienced. Through my job I often have no desire to continue to hang on the PC, since Insta was just better suited to me. But I also think it's important not to neglect the blog as I did last year.

Today I can finally show you my finished quilt. For 2 1/2 years I sat on it and made many mistakes, but learned soo much. The biggest mistake had been that I started cutting and sewing in August 2019, stopped and didn't note how much my seam allowances were. I made it work as best I could and learned quite a bit from "this is what I do at night" and "piecestopatch", all via Youtube. The blanket is now loved, cuddled and washed and so it should be. -;))

The fabrics are all from Patch-It, I still have some fabrics left, there I will then make pillow cases from. I hope these will not take so long again.

Eine neue Tasche von Pattydoo / A new bag from Pattydoo

Neulich habe ich Euch ja auf Insta gesagt, ich nähe mir eine neue Tasche. Mir fehlt  immer eine Tasche wenn wir einfach mal weggehen. Oft habe ich meinen Koffer dabei, grins, damit ich unsere beiden Geldbörsen, Brillen und zwei Handys rein bekomme. Schon vor einiger Zeit habe ich mir das Schnittmuster für die Schultertasche Adoro von Pattydoo gekauft. Nach dem ich neulich bei Patch-It war und mir das nötige Zubehör gekauft habe konnte ich starten. Eigentlich wollte ich ein feines Kunstleder auf Velourart haben, dies hatte Christiane leider nicht da. Aber sie hatte einen dunkelblauen Taschenwollstoff da, welcher mir auch gefallen hat. Entstanden ist die Handtasche Adoro in rechteckiger Form.
Das Innenleben ist ein Ankerstoff den ich auf irgendeiner Messe mitgenommen habe. Was mir immer sehr wichtig ist, die Tasche muss ein Schlüsselband haben. Am Anfang dachte ich noch, was soll ich denn mit so etwas. Der Alltag hat mir bewiesen, das es eine sehr große Erleichterung und auch Sicherheit ist. 
Die Nähte im inneren der Taschen wurden mit einem Schrägband versäubert, ist nicht so sehr meins, vielleicht bekomme ich bei der nächsten Tasche eine bessere Lösung hin.
Die Tasche zu nähen hat so viel Spaß gemacht, auch wenn ich oft das Video zurück scrollen musste. Mir gefällt sie super toll und ich bin auch etwas Stolz auf mich.
Das Schnuddel in der Mitte der einen Seite der Tasche habe ich mir vor langer Zeit auf der Creativa in Dortmund besorgt. Dieses Jahr bin ich wieder mit meiner Freundin dort, ich freue mich schon sehr darauf.

The other day I told you on Insta that I was sewing a new bag. I am always missing a bag when we go out for a walk Often I have my suitcase with me, grin, so that I can get our two purses, glasses and two mobile phones in. Some time ago I bought the pattern for the shoulder bag Adoro from Pattydoo. After I was at Patch-It the other day and bought the necessary accessories I was able to start. Actually I wanted to have a fine imitation leather on velourart, unfortunately Christiane didn't have this. But she had a dark blue pocket wool fabric, which I liked as well. The inside is an anchor fabric that I took with me to some fair. What is always very important to me is a lanyard. In the beginning I thought, what am I supposed to do with something like that. Everyday life has proven to me that it is a great relief and also security. The seams inside the bags were trimmed with a bias tape, it's not so much mine, maybe I'll get a better solution with the next bag.
Sewing the bag was so much fun, even though I often had to scroll back the video. I like it super great and I am also a bit proud of myself.
I got the snood in the middle of one side of the bag a long time ago at the Creativa in Dortmund. This year I will be there again with my girlfriend, I am really looking forward to it.
