Mein Stricktuch ist endlich fertig / My knitted scarf is finally ready

Heute kann ich Euch endlich mein Stricktuch zeigen, was ich im Dezember Dank der tollen Hilfe von Marion begonnen hat. Es hat damit angefangen, dass ich die Wolle bei Pasquali gekauft habe und erst später gesehen habe dass es die Anleitung nur in Spanisch oder in Englisch gab. Spanisch kann ich garnicht und mein Englisch ist leider sehr traurig. Auf meine Anfrage bei Marion, ob sie eine Anleitung für ein ähnliches Tuch hat, hat sie sich angeboten die Anleitung zu übersetzen. Und nicht nur das hat Sie gemacht, es kamen tolle Tips, wo ich ein Video bei Youtube finden könnte oder Hinweise wie sie es macht. Das war echt toll, ich bin nicht sicher, dass ich das sonst so geschafft hätte. Viele neue Techniken habe ich dabei gelernt.

Die eine Sektion habe ich teilweise gedoppelt, da ich das Tuch etwas länger haben wollte.

Das Tuch liebe ich schon jetzt, nur ist es im Moment dafür viel zu warm. Für die Bilder haben wir die Abendsonne genutzt.

Today I can finally show you my knitted shawl, which I started in December thanks to the great help of Marion. It started with the fact that I bought the wool at Pasquali and only later saw that the instructions were only available in Spanish or in English. I don't know Spanish at all and my English is unfortunately very sad. When I asked Marion if she had instructions for a similar shawl, she offered to translate the instructions. And not only did she do that, there came great tips where I could find a video on Youtube or hints on how she does it. That was really great, I'm not sure I could have done it that way otherwise. A lot of new techniques I learned along the way.

I partially doubled the one section because I wanted the shawl to be a little longer.

I already love the shawl, it's just way too warm for it right now. We took advantage of the evening sun for the pictures.

Jahresprojekt Mai 2021/Annual project May 2021

 

 

Diesen Monat bin ich wieder beim Jahresprojekt  von Andrea der Zitronenfalterin dabei. Das vordere Top ist nun erst mal fertig. Im Mai habe ich die Rückseite zusammen genäht. Nun muss ich das Fließ bestellen. Aber leider ist das Fließ, was ich gerne haben möchte derzeit nicht erhältlich. Hoffentlich ist es bald wieder lieferbar. Dann kann ich die drei Lagen zusammen stecken, beziehungsweise werde ich diese zusammen heften. Dann muss ich mir überlegen, wie ich die Decke quilten möchte. Ich habe da schon eine Idee. Um diese aber zu verwirklichen benötige ich noch eine Schablone und werde es einfach an einem Kissenbezug üben. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt ob es mir gelingen wird und mir gefällt.

Also das wird alles noch etwas Zeit benötigen. Die Decke wird auch größer als geplant werden, aber das ist auch nicht so verkehrt, dann reicht sie für uns beide, wenn wir auf der Couch liegen.Ich wünsche Euch einen schönen Abend und werde dann mal bei Andrea die Zitronenfalterin schmökern gehen, wie weit ihr mit Euren Projekten gekommen seid. This month I am again in the annual project of Andrea the lemon butterfly. The front top is now finished for now. In May I sewed the back together. Now I have to order the flow. But unfortunately the fleece I would like to have is not available at the moment. Hopefully it will be available again soon. Then I can pin the three layers together, respectively I will stitch them together. Then I have to think about how I want to quilt the quilt. I already have an idea. But to realize this I still need a template and will just practice it on a pillowcase. I am already very curious whether I will succeed and I like it.

So this will all still need some time. The blanket will also be larger than planned, but that is also not so wrong, then it is enough for both of us when we lie on the couch.I wish you a nice evening and will then times at Andrea the lemon butterfly go browse how far you have come with your projects. Samstagsplausch 23/21 / Saturday Chat

Wir haben Samstag und es ist Zeit für den Samstagsplausch bei Andrea. Seit ein paar Tagen ist es plötzlich Sommer geworden. Wie schön ist das. Meine Woche war eine schöne Woche, aber auch mit sehr vielen Ängsten. Ich habe mir noch nie so viel Gedanken wegen einer Impfung gemacht. Ja auch bei uns stehen nun Impftermine an. Mein Mann war gestern zur ersten Impfung und ich darf am Sonntag. Es ist aber der richtige Schritt. Aber trotzdem kommt man ins Grübeln. Nun aber genug von den doofen Gedanken. Letztes Wochenende waren wir am Samstag mit dem Fahrrad kurz in der Stadt. Wir mussten ein paar Dinge erledigen. Danach hab ich mich an der Nähmaschine vergnügt einige Dinge beendet, wo ich noch keine Bilder gemacht haben und bei meinem Stricktuch die Fäden vernäht. Ich wollte es Euch gerne schon zeigen aber ich habe es noch nicht fertiggestellt. Ich war Abends einfach nur erledigt. Ich habe nicht mal meinen Sport geschafft. Am Montag nach Arbeit waren wir auf dem Friedhof und haben einen Gießauftrag bis September gemacht. Danach waren wir das erste Mal seit dem November in einer Pizzeria essen. Das war so schön, wir haben uns vorher spontan getestet. Ab Dienstag war ich im Homeoffice, Dienstag Abends waren wir noch im Möbelladen und haben uns endlich einen neuen Esstisch gekauft. Wir hatten schon sehr lange nach einem gesucht. Donnerstag nach der Arbeit waren wir mit dem Rad einkaufen und danach haben wir noch eine kleine Tour übers Land gemacht. Das war wie eine kleine erholsame Auszeit. Freitag war ich im Dienst, da ich bei meinen Mann sein wollte, wegen eventueller Einschränkungen aufgrund der Impfung bei ihm. Aber bisher verträgt er es ganz gut. Heute werden wir uns noch mit einer lieben Freundin treffen. Morgen müssen wir durch die ganze Stadt, damit ich meine Impfung erhalte, das bedeutet frühzeitig los, da die meisten Straßen wegen der Sternfahrt der Radfahrer gesperrt ist.  Ich wünsche Euch nun ein schönes und erholsames Wochenende. Bilder von unserer kleinen Tour am Donnerstag

It's Saturday and time for the Saturday chat at Andrea's. Since a few days it has suddenly become summer. How nice is that. My week has been a beautiful week, but also with a lot of anxiety. I have never thought so much about a vaccination. Yes, we also have vaccination appointments coming up now. My husband was yesterday for the first vaccination and I may on Sunday. But it is the right step. But nevertheless one comes into the brooding. But now enough of the stupid thoughts. Last weekend we were on Saturday with the bike briefly in the city. We had to do a few things. After that I had fun at the sewing machine and finished some things where I haven't taken any pictures yet and sewed the threads on my knitted scarf. I wanted to show it to you but I haven't finished it yet. I was just exhausted in the evening. I didn't even manage to do my sports. On Monday after work we went to the cemetery and did a watering job until September. After that we went out to eat at a pizza place for the first time since November. That was so nice, we spontaneously tested each other beforehand. From Tuesday I was in the home office, Tuesday evening we were still in the furniture store and finally bought a new dining table. We had been looking for one for a very long time. Thursday after work we went shopping by bike and afterwards we made a little tour over the country. That was like a little relaxing time out. Friday I was on duty, because I wanted to be with my husband, because of possible restrictions due to the vaccination with him. But so far he tolerates it quite well. Today we will meet with a dear friend. Tomorrow we have to go through the whole city so that I can get my vaccination, which means leaving early because most of the streets are closed because of the rally of cyclists.
