Today there will be another saturday party at Andrea's.
My week was fine for this time of the year. I could work at home for three days, I had to cancel an event for the beginning of May. Since our boss arranged us in such a way that only one of us is on site per room, it has been pretty quiet at work on Wednesday and Thursday. Since Thursday I take part in the sewing challenge of "Heike invites you to sew" from Modewerkstatt ,. My sewing machine will sing there today.
At the beginning of the week I read another very nice short biography of a great woman Nina Schenk von Staufenberg at Lemonde de Kitchi's (she wrote her very good writing again), and I bought the ebook and can't stop reading. That should mean something for me at the moment. It captivates you.
And another book has moved in with me, " my favorite coat self-sewn" by Yuko Katayama. I've wanted to sew a coat for a long time, but I haven't dared to go that far yet. Maybe the book will help me to overcome my fears about sewing a coat.
So that's it for today. For the fact that I thought I had nothing to tell, a lot has come out.
We only come out to buy groceries or drive to work. It's pretty depressing. Luckily there is a lot of technology and you can see some nice people via Skype or Face-Time, like Marion, an artist, the other day. That was very nice.
I wish you a nice weekend, have fun with what you can or do. Dear Sylvia
