Samstagsplausch 45/18 / Saturday Chat

Diese Woche ist für mich verflogen. Ich hatte nicht mal Zeit im durch das Internet zu surfen.
Am Samstag hatte wir einen vollgepackten Zeitplan, erst einkaufen auf dem Markt, dann zum Friedhof. Danach Friseur und dann zu Stoff und Stil. Um 15:30 hatte mein Mann ein Date mit seinem Sohn.
Wir haben tatsächlich alles gut geschafft. Ich habe mich dann noch etwas an die Nähmaschine gesetzt. 
Sonntag waren wir nur beim Sport, ich musste für eine Abschiedsfeier eines Kollegen der nun in Rente ist, 7 Kilo Kassler und vier Pakete Hähnchenkeulen vorbereiten. Also langweilig war mein Wochenende nicht. 
Montag gab es dann die nette Feier, Dienstag und Mittwoch waren recht normale Tage.
Donnerstag gab es eine Infoveranstaltung auf Arbeit, die ich sehr interessant fand, da waren wir auch ziemlich lange auf Arbeit. Freitag waren wir nach Arbeit noch beim Sport. Heute wissen wir noch nicht, was wir unternehmen und morgen werden wir Kekse backen.
So und nun gehe ich zu Andrea und höre was ihr über die Woche zu plauschen habt.

This week has passed for me. I did not even have time to surf the internet.
On Saturday we had a packed schedule, first shopping at the market, then to the cemetery. Then hairdresser and then to fabric and style. At 15:30 my husband had a date with his son
We actually did a good job. I then sat down a bit at the sewing machine.
Sunday we were just at the sport, I had to prepare for a farewell party of a colleague who is now retired, 7 kilos of smoked pork and four packets of chicken drumsticks. So my weekend was not boring.
Monday there was the nice party, Tuesday and Wednesday were quite normal days.
Thursday there was an info event on work, which I found very interesting, since we were also quite a long time at work. Friday we were still at work after work. Today we do not know yet what we are doing and tomorrow we will bake cookies.
So now I go to Andrea and hear what you have to chat over the week.

Samstagsplausch 44/18 / Saturday Chat

Wieder haben wir Samstag und es ist Zeit für den Samstagsplausch bei Andrea. Ich werde aber erst später mit Euch plauschen können, da wir einen voll gepackten Tag heute haben.
Samstag konnte ich mich an der Nähmaschine austoben. Am Sonntag waren wir beim Sport, Montag und Dienstag waren ganz normale Arbeitstage. Dienstag Abend waren wir noch beim Sport. Mittwoch hatte der Chef von meinem Mann seinen letzten Arbeitstag, da sind wir etwas spät heraus gekommen. Danach waren wir noch beim Spanier, sehr lecker Essen. Am Donnerstag war mein Mann beim Arzt.
Gestern hatte ich ein kleines Treffen mit zwei Freundinnen aus meiner Schulzeit. Wir haben in alten Erinnerungen geschwelgt, es war ein sehr schöner Nachmittag.

Again we have Saturday and it's time for the Saturday chat with Andrea. But I will be able to chat with you later, because we have a packed day today.
Saturday I could let off steam on the sewing machine. On Sunday we were at the sport, Monday and Tuesday were normal working days. Tuesday evening we were still at the sport. Wednesday, the boss of my husband had his last working day, so we came out a little late. Then we were still at the Spaniard, delicious food. On Thursday, my husband was at the doctor.
Yesterday I had a little meeting with two friends from my school days. We reveled in old memories, it was a very nice afternoon.

Samstagsplausch 43/18 / Saturday Chat

Hallo Ihr Lieben, heute bin ich sehr spät dran. Aber besser so als gar nicht. Wir waren gestern Abend um 20:00 Uhr noch so spät beim Sport, und ich war nachher so erledigt, das ich mich heute früh nicht in der Lage sah aufzustehen und zu plauschen. Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir dies nachsehen. Leider schlafe ich im Augenblick nicht gut und das zieht sich dann durch die ganze Woche durch.
Am letzten Sonntag waren wir bei dem tollen Wetter im Britzer Garten und da haben wir dann den Herbst eingefangen. Es war ein sehr schöner Tag.
Montag war ein ganz normaler Montag, eigentlich wollten wir zum Sport waren aber froh, wie wir endlich zu Hause waren und haben das dann auf den Dienstag gelegt. Am Dienstag hatte mein Mann einen Arzttermin, und da ist ein sehr nettes Bio Cafe und da geh ich mit meinen Strickzeug rein, trinke einen tollen Latte Macchiato und esse ein schönes Stück Kuchen, der es nicht auf ein Foto schafft. Da genieße ich dann und stricke und warte auf meinen Mann. Am Mittwoch und Donnerstag habe ich von zu Hause gearbeitet, wo ich viel geschafft habe, aber manchmal fehlt mir doch der Kontakt mit meinen Kollegen.
Heute waren wir auf dem Markt einkaufen und nun ist mein Mann  Hertha gucken und ich mache den Plausch und sitze an meiner Nähmaschine, denn Weihnachten rückt näher und ich möchte noch so viel machen. Geht es Euch auch manchmal so, man hat so viel Pläne und Ideen und keine Zeit.

Hello my dears, today I am very late. But better that way than not at all. We were late at night at 8pm yesterday evening, and I was so exhausted afterwards that I did not feel able to stand up and chat this morning. I hope you can check this. Unfortunately, I'm not sleeping well at the moment, and that's going on through the week.
Last Sunday we were in the great weather in the Britzer garden and then we caught the fall. It was a beautiful day.
Monday was a normal Monday, actually we wanted to go to the sport but we were glad, how we finally got home and decided to put it on Tuesday. On Tuesday, my husband had a doctor's appointment, and there's a very nice organic cafe and I go in with my knitting, drink a great latte macchiato and eat a nice piece of cake that does not make it onto a photo. Then I enjoy and knit and wait for my husband. On Wednesday and Thursday I worked from home, where I did a lot, but sometimes I miss the contact with my colleagues.
Today we were in the market shopping and now my husband Hertha is watching and I make the chat and sit at my sewing machine, because Christmas is approaching and I want to do so much. Do you sometimes feel that way, you have so many plans and ideas and no time.

Ein Rock für besondere Anlässe / A skirt for special occasions

Ich bin ja eigentlich überhaupt kein Kleid oder Rocktyp, aber ich versuche es immer wieder und manchmal gibt es ja Anlässe, da brauch Frau etwas schickes zum Anziehen. Vor einiger Zeit ist dieser Bleistiftrock entstanden. Der Rock ist aus der Burda Style, leider weiß ich nicht mehr aus welcher, und den Stoff habe ich bei Idee vor einigen Jahren gekauft,  und war schon etwas aufwendig zu nähen. Aber vielleicht würde es mir jetzt auch leichter fallen. Der Rock ist gefüttert und trägt sich auch ganz gut, aber ich bin trotzdem immer wieder glücklich wenn ich meine geliebten Jeans anziehen kann. 

Und wie ihr anhand meiner Haarfarbe erkennen könnt, sind die Fotos auch schon etwas her. Letztes Jahr im September habe ich immer noch die Haare gefärbt. Die Bilder sind mir leider etwas untergegangen. Durch Zufall habe ich sie wieder gefunden und sie gehen heute zu Du für Dich am Donnerstag von Nähfrosch und Sewlala

Actually, I'm not at all a dress or a skirt type, but I keep trying and sometimes there are occasions when a woman needs something chic to wear. Some time ago this pencil skirt was created. The skirt is from the Burda style, unfortunately I do not remember which, and I bought the fabric at idea a few years ago, and was already a bit expensive to sew. But maybe it would be easier for me now. The skirt is lined and wears quite well, but I'm always happy when I can wear my beloved jeans.
And as you can tell from my hair color, the photos are already a bit dated. Last year in September I still dyed my hair. The pictures have unfortunately gone down a bit. By chance, I found them again and they go to you today for you on Thursday by Sewing Frog and Sewlala

Samstagsplausch 42/18 / Saturday Chat

Es ist Zeit für den Samstagsplausch bei Andrea. Meine Woche war eine sehr bewegende Woche.
Samstag waren wir auf dem Markt etwas einkaufen, dann kam noch Jan zu uns, der sich dann auf dem Weg nach Frankfurt am Main gemacht hat. Abends wollten wir erst noch durch die Stadt mit der Kamera laufen, aber dann haben wir uns doch entschlossen, zu Hause zu bleiben. Am Sonntag sind wir in den Grunewald zum Teufelsberg gefahren, wie hundert andere Menschen auch. Wir haben gedacht, wir könnten schöne Fotos vom Herbst einfangen, aber es war noch zu früh, soviel Buntes ist noch nicht zu sehen, leider sind viele Blätter auch einfach viel zu trocken. Ein paar Bilder habe ich gemacht. Die könnt ihr unten sehen.
Am Montag waren wir nach der Arbeit noch beim Sport, Dienstag waren wir bis 18:00 Uhr auf der Arbeit, da hatten wir dann keine Lust mehr etwas zu unternehmen. Wie wir dann nach Hause kamen, sind einige Bäume bei uns an der Strasse gefällt worden, und am Mittwoch ging es leider weiter. Ich hätte es nicht gedacht, aber mir war als höre ich die Bäume singen. Das hat mich sehr nachdenklich und traurig gestimmt. Wir werden beobachten, ob für die gefällten Bäume neue gepflanzt werden. Die alten mussten wohl weg, da diese zu groß wurden und den ganzen Gehweg beschädigt haben.
Mittwoch habe ich mich Nachmittags mit meinen Mädels getroffen, das ist immer eine schöne Auszeit. Da gab es aber einige schlechte Neuigkeiten. Donnerstag und Freitag waren normale Tage. Am Freitag waren wir Abends noch beim Sport .
Am Wochenende wollen wir nichts unternehmen. Ich habe mir zum ersten Mal Stoff bei Frau Tulpe bestellt und möchte mir ein paar Shirts nähen. Ich bin auf die Verarbeitung des Stoffes sehr gespannt. Dann habe ich mir noch einen Nähplaner für 2019 gegönnt, mal sehen ob ich mit so etwas zurecht komme. Ich wünsche Euch ein schönes und entspanntes Wochenende. Sylvia

It's time for the Saturday chat with Andrea. My week was a very moving week.
Saturday we went to the market to buy something, then came Jan to us, who then made on the way to Frankfurt am Main. In the evening we wanted to walk through the city with the camera, but then we decided to stay at home. On Sunday we drove into the Grunewald to Teufelsberg, like a thousand other people too. We thought we could capture beautiful photos of the fall, but it was too early, so much colorful is not yet to see, unfortunately, many leaves are just too dry. I took some pictures. You can see it below.
On Monday we were still at the sport after work, Tuesday we were up to 18:00 clock at work, because then we had no desire to do something. We then came home, some trees have been cut down in our street, and on Wednesday, unfortunately, it went on. I did not think so, but I thought I heard the trees singing. That made me very thoughtful and sad. We will observe whether new trees are planted for the felled trees. The old ones had to leave because they got too big and damaged the whole sidewalk.
Wednesday I met with my girls in the afternoon, that's always a nice break. But there was some bad news. Thursday and Friday were normal days. On Friday we were still in the evening at the sport.
We do not want to do anything at the weekend. I ordered fabric from Mrs. Tulip and I would like to sew some shirts. I am very curious about the processing of the substance. Then I allowed myself a sewing planner for 2019, let's see if I can deal with something like that. I wish you a nice and relaxing weekend. Sylvia

Ein kleines Nähetui

Heute zeige ich Euch mal ein kleines Nähetui, sehr gut für eine Reise zum mit nehmen. Findet sogar Platz in meiner Fahrradtasche. Als Vorlage habe ich mir eines von Funkelfaden genommen. Hier habe ich nur die Innentaschen und das Nadelkissen übernommen. Die Größe habe ich selber entworfen. Es hat mir tatsächlich sehr viel Spaß gemacht, wobei ich mich erst nicht herantraute. So fast ohne Schnittmuster oder einer festen Vorgabe zu arbeiten bereitet mir immer noch Schwierigkeiten.
Da das Etui aus Stoffresten entstanden ist, geht es heute zu Marions Restefest.

Today I will show you a small sewing case, very good for a trip to take. Finds even space in my bike bag. As a template, I have taken one of my hair thread. Here I only took over the bags and the pincushion. I designed the size myself. It was really a lot of fun, but I did not bother. To work almost without a pattern or an idea still causes me difficulties.
Since the case was created from scraps of cloth, today it goes to Marion's Restfest.

Als Verschluss habe ich einen Kam Snap genommen. Dann noch das Gummiband für einen eventuellen Trenner oder ähnliches und eine kleine Tasche für das Nähgarn oder die Knöpfe. Danach habe ich den Ober und Innenstoff zusammengelegt und so dass sich die beiden schönen Seiten ansehen, danach habe ich dann alles abgesteppt und habe etwa 10 cm zum wenden gelassen und als Verschluss musste ebenfalls ein Kam Snap herhalten.
Es ist noch ausbaufähig und kann gern verbessert werden, aber ich bin schon sehr damit zufrieden. 

As a closure, I took a Kam Snap. Then the rubber band for a possible separator or the like and a small bag for the sewing thread or the buttons. Then I put the upper and inner fabric together and so that the two beautiful sides look, then I then stitched everything and left about 10 cm to turn and as a shutter had to serve also a Kam Snap.
It is still upgradeable and can be improved, but I'm very satisfied with it.

Samstagsplausch 41/18 / Saturday Chat

Wieder ist Samstagsplausch bei Andrea angesagt. Heute habe ich Euch mal unser Räuchermännchen mit gebracht, denn so langsam beginnt wieder die  Räucherkerzen Zeit.
Den kleinen Ziegenbock haben wir letztes Jahr auf einen Weihnachtsmarkt gekauft.
Meine Woche war sehr schön. Samstag waren wir Abends noch mal unterwegs beim Festival of Lights aber nur mit meiner kleinen Kamera ohne Stativ. Am Potsdamer Platz haben wir dann zufällig Marion mit Ihrer Freundin getroffen. Wir sind bis zum Dom gemeinsam unterwegs gewesen, danach sind wir wieder zurück. Sonntag habe ich mich an der Nähmaschine vergnügt, habe meine Jogginghose fertig gestellt. Nun brauche ich nur noch Fotos, dann kann ich sie Euch zeigen. Und ich habe begonnen Herzkissen zu nähen für die tolle Aktion von Patch - it, die die Kissen im Krankenhaus auf der Krebsstation ab gibt. Zwei habe ich schon fertig.
Montag hatte meine bessere Hälfte Geburtstag und nebenbei noch  4. Hochzeitstag. Wahnsinn wie die Zeit verflogen ist. Wir waren Abends schön Essen mit Jan.
Dienstag, Mittwoch war normal, Donnerstag und Freitag konnte ich von zu Hause arbeiten.
Heute werden wir auf den Markt gehen, irgendwann kommt Jan vorbei, der wird heute nach Frankfurt fuhren und sein Studium dort weiter machen. Abends gehen wir eventuell noch mal durch die Stadt.

Saturday's chat with Andrea is announced again. Today I brought you our smoker, because slowly the incense candle time begins again.
The little goat we bought last year on a Christmas market.
My week was very nice. Saturday evening we went to the Festival of Lights again but only with my little camera without a tripod. At Potsdamer Platz we met Marion by chance with her friend. We went to the cathedral together, then we are back. Sunday I had fun on the sewing machine, finished my sweatpants. Now I only need photos, then I can show you. And I started to sew heart pillows for the great action of Patch - it, which delivers the pillows in the hospital at the cancer ward. I already finished two.
Monday had my better half birthday and by the way still 4th wedding anniversary. Madness as time has passed. We were nice dinner with Jan in the evening.
Tuesday, Wednesday was normal, Thursday and Friday I was able to work from home.
Today we will go on the market, at some point Jan will pass, he will go to Frankfurt today and continue his studies there. In the evening we may go through the city again.
