Endlich neue Ofenhandschuhe / Finally new oven gloves

Ich habe mich mal mit Ofenhandschuhe beschäftigt. Die gekauften haben mich in der letzten Zeit nur genervt, waren gleich kaputt oder die Beschichtung war nach drei Wäschen verschwunden.
Im Urlaub am Gardasee habe ich mit dem Stricken von Topflappen beschäftigt, hat mich gut ausgefüllt beim Besuch im Krankenhaus bei meinen Mann. Hat mir aber keinen Spaß gemacht. Ist nicht so mein Ding, aber ich habe sie zu Ende gebracht. 
 

Die Wolle habe ich von meinem Lieblingsladen Frau Wolle

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich mir mal den Ofenhandschuh von Pattydoo genauer angesehen, und mir das Schnittmuster runter geladen. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert von den Anleitungen und Tipps von Pattydoo.
Nun sind schon mal zwei neue Paare Ofenhandschuhe mit Stoff von Buttinette entstanden, und es hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht diese zu nähen. Und sie gefallen mir super toll.
Da werden noch mehr entstehen. 

 I used to work with oven gloves. The bought ones have only annoyed me lately, were immediately broken or the coating had disappeared after three washes.
On holiday at Lake Garda I was busy knitting potholders, filling up well when visiting my husband at the hospital. But it was no fun for me. It's not my thing, but I finished it. 
 Some time ago I took a closer look at Pattydoo's oven glove and downloaded the pattern. I am always enthusiastic about the instructions and tips from Pattydoo.
Now there are two new pairs of oven gloves with fabric by Buttinette, and I had a lot of fun sewing them. And I really like them.

Samstagsplausch 33/19 / Saturday Chat

Und wieder ist eine Woche rum. Es verfliegt die Zeit wie verrückt. Wenn ich morgens um 5 Uhr mit dem Rad losfahre ist es schon ziemlich dunkel und es liegt ein Hauch von Herbst in der Luft.
Meine Woche war recht arbeitsreich.
Samstag war ich auf dem Markt einkaufen und habe meine genähten Obstbeutel dabei gehabt.  Danach habe ich meine neue Jacke zu geschnitten, meine Patchworkdecke weiter genäht und weitere Nähprojekte geplant. Es gibt so viele Ideen die ich habe, aber leider kaum Zeit. 
Montag war ein normaler Arbeitstag, Dienstag, Mittwoch und Donnerstag konnte ich zu Hause arbeiten und nebenbei noch meinen Mann versorgen.
Freitag war ein kurzer Arbeitstag. Ich war noch in Steglitz in der Stadt und habe einige Sachen besorgt. Danach ging es mit dem Blick auf dem dunklen Himmel per Rad nach hause. Aber es gab keinen Regen.
Für das Wochenende ist nichts geplant, geht ja leider auch noch nicht, also werde ich Wohnungspflege betreiben und vielleicht meinen Webrahmen bespannen.
Was auch immer Ihr so vorhabt, ich wünsche Euch viel Spaß und ein schönes Wochenende. Nun setze ich mich zu Andrea an den Tisch um zu plauschen.

Another week's gone by. Time flies like crazy. When I ride my bike at 5 o'clock in the morning it is already quite dark and there is a breath of autumn in the air.
My week was quite busy.
Saturday I went shopping at the market and had my sewn fruit bags with me.  Then I cut my new jacket, sewed my patchwork blanket and planned further sewing projects. There are so many ideas I have, but unfortunately hardly any time.
Monday was a normal working day, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I could work at home and take care of my husband.
Friday was a short working day. I was still in Steglitz in the city and got some things. Afterwards I went home by bike with the view on the dark sky. But there was no rain.
Nothing is planned for the weekend, unfortunately it's not possible yet, so I'll take care of my flat and maybe cover my weaving frame.
Whatever you have in mind, I wish you a lot of fun and a nice weekend. Now I sit down to Andrea at the table to have a chat.

und wieder ein neues T-Shirt/and again a new T-Shirt

Ich habe es wieder getan. Wieder ist ein neues T-Shirt entstanden, was eigentlich ein Kleid sein sollte. Hier kannst Du das erste T-Shirt mit Streifen sehen. Der Schnitt ist wieder aus der La Maison Victor das Kleid Emily. Nur habe ich dies eine Nummer kleiner genäht, eine 42. Liebe Heike von Modewerkstatt HT vielen Dank für Deinen sehr wertvollen Tip. 
Das T-Shirt hat einen sehr großen Wohlfühlcharakter.
Da mein Mann leider immer noch liegen muss, sind die Tragebilder trotz des schönen Wetters leider drinnen entstanden, ich musste alles aufbauen, mich platzieren und er hat dann auf den Knopf der Kamera gedrückt. 
Das zweite Shirt geht heute zu "Du für Dich am Donnerstag" von Nähfrosch, Swelala und zu Modewerkstat HT 

I did it again. Again a new T-shirt was created, which should be a dress. Here you can see the first t-shirt with stripes. The cut is again from La Maison Victor the dress Emily. Only I sewed this one number smaller, a 42nd love Heike from Modewerkstatt HT many thanks for your very valuable tip.
The T-shirt has a very big feel-good character.
Since my husband unfortunately still has to lie down, the pictures were taken indoors despite the beautiful weather, I had to set everything up, place myself and he then pressed the button of the camera.
The second shirt goes today to "Du für Dich am Donnerstag" by Nähfrosch, Swelala and to Modewerkstat HT

Samstagsplausch 32/19 / Saturday Chat

Nach vier Wochen bin ich heute mal wieder beim Samstagsplausch bei Andrea dabei. Vier Wochen eigentlicher Urlaub.  Hier habe ich berichtet was uns in Italien ereilt hat. Vielen Dank für Eure netten Kommentare.
Am Samstag war ich auf dem Markt einkaufen. Abends zum Fußball hat uns eine liebe Freundin besucht. Mein Mann hat ein bisschen Abwechslung benötigt. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Am Sonntag habe ich mich auf das Fahrrad begeben und habe auf Wunsch eines einzelnen Herrn Kuchen besorgt. Montag war ich auf dem Friedhof, einkaufen und habe mich um meinen Mann gekümmert. Beschäftigt habe ich mich am Nachmittag mit dem Nähen von Obst und Gemüsebeuteln.  Da wird es noch einen gesonderten Beitrag geben. Dienstag , mein letzter Urlaubstag, war Arztbesuch für meinen Mann angesagt. Abends haben wir uns noch ein leckeres Essen bestellt, was ich abgeholt habe.
Seit Mittwoch radele ich jeden Morgen zur Arbeit. Man ist so schnell wieder in der Maschinerie drin. Am Donnerstag ist der Sohn meines Mannes aus Frankfurt am Main angereist. Auch bei ihm muss nächste Woche eine OP erfolgen. Gestern haben wir ein wenig seinen Geburtstag hier zu Hause gefeiert. Heute muss ich noch ein paar Sachen einkaufen, dann hoffe ich, dass ich mich etwas um mein Hobby kümmern kann, neben der Pflege meines Liebsten.

After four weeks I'm back for Saturday fun with Andrea. Four weeks actual vacation.  Here I reported what happened to us in Italy. Thank you very much for your nice comments.
On Saturday I went shopping at the market. In the evening to the football a dear friend visited us. My husband needed a little change. It was a very nice evening. On Sunday I went on my bike and got some cake for a single man. Monday I was at the cemetery, shopping and took care of my husband. In the afternoon I was busy sewing fruit and vegetable bags.  There will be a separate contribution. Tuesday, my last vacation day, was the day for my husband to see a doctor. In the evening we ordered a delicious meal, which I picked up.
Since Wednesday I cycle every morning to work. One is so fast again in the machinery inside. On Thursday my husband's son arrived from Frankfurt am Main. He will also have to undergo surgery next week. Yesterday we celebrated his birthday here at home. Today I still have to buy a few things, then I hope that I can take care of my hobby, beside the care of my dearest.

Unser Urlaub am Gardasee / Our holiday at Lake Garda

Heute kann ich endlich mal über unseren Urlaub am Gardasee schreiben, der anders endete als von uns geplant.
Begonnen hat er am Freitag den 05.07.2019. Wir sind von Arbeit so gegen halb elf gestartet. Die Autobahn war frei bis auf einige Baustellen. Übernachtet haben wir in Kaufbeuren, wo wir noch einen Kumpel  meines Mannes, der dort wohnt, besucht haben. Am nächsten Tag ging es durch die Berge und Garmisch Partenkirchen nach Österreich und weiter nach Italien. So gegen 14:00 Uhr waren wir in Cisano am Campingplatz angekommen. So schnell wie möglich haben wir alles ausgeladen und sind dann runter zum See gegangen. Wir haben dann auch noch einige Lebensmittel eingekauft.
Abends hatten wir dann wieder einen super schönen Sonnenuntergang.  
So schön ging es die nächsten Tage weiter. Baden im See waren wir erst nach drei Tagen. Einen Tag haben wir einen Ausflug nach Lazise gemacht, einen weiteren Tag sind wir per Bus nach Sirmione gefahren. Ein sehr schöner Ort, nur sehr extrem voll. Mit der Fähre ging es dann zurück nach Lazise.
Nach dem wir eine Woche hinter uns hatten und noch eine Woche vor uns lag, sind wir am Freitag zum See runter weil wir uns in das Nass stürzen wollten. Ich war schon drin und hörte meinen Mann nur Schreien. Er ist auf der Steintreppe trotz Badeschuhe gerutscht und hat sich den Fuß verdreht. Mir wurde sehr viel anders. Zum Glück hat uns ein Ehepaar aus LDS geholfen, alle anderen haben nur geguckt. Ein Rettungswagen kam und hat meinen Mann in das Krankenhaus in Peschiera gebracht. Diagnose, zweifacher Bruch des Sprunggelenkes. Der Urlaub war erledigt. Mein Mann ist der Autofahrer, zur Angst um meinem Mann kam nun auch noch die Sorge, wie kommt unser Auto zurück nach Hause.
Zum Glück haben wir eine Zusatzversicherung beim ADAC die haben das alles super geklärt, so dass ich mich auf meinen Mann konzentrieren konnte, der dann in der Klinik am Dienstag operiert wurde. Es ist wirklich alles nicht so einfach, wenn Mann / Frau die Sprache nicht spricht.
Letzendlich ging es so ganz gut aus, mein Mann darf noch drei Wochen den Fuß nicht belasten, das heißt er darf nur liegen. Also das wird noch einige Zeit dauern.
Am Freitag den 19. Juli wurde wir von einem Fahrer des ADAC mit unsere Auto nachhause gefahren. Durch lange Staus waren wir so gegen halb eins Nachts zu Hause.
Trotzdem war es wieder sehr schön am Gardasee. Trotz der vielen Menschen ist es ein schöner Flecken. Ich habe ein paar schöne Fotos bei gefügt.

Today I can finally write about our holiday at Lake Garda, which ended differently than we had planned.
It started on Friday 05.07.2019. We started from work around half past ten. The motorway was free except for some construction sites. We stayed overnight in Kaufbeuren, where we visited a buddy of my husband who lives there. The next day we went through the mountains and Garmisch Partenkirchen to Austria and on to Italy. About 14:00 o'clock we arrived in Cisano at the camping site. As fast as possible we unloaded everything and went down to the lake. We also bought some food.
In the evening we had a super nice sunset. 
So beautiful it went on the next days. Swimming in the lake we were only after three days. One day we made a trip to Lazise, another day we went by bus to Sirmione. A very nice place, only extremely crowded. With the ferry we went back to Lazise.
After we had one week behind us and one week ahead of us, we went down to the lake on Friday because we wanted to plunge into the water. I was already inside and heard my husband only screaming. He slipped on the stone stairs despite bathing shoes and twisted his foot. I became very much different. Fortunately a couple from LDS helped us, everyone else just looked. An ambulance came and took my husband to the hospital in Peschiera. Diagnosis, double fracture of the ankle joint. The vacation was finished. My husband is the car driver, to the fear for my husband came now also still the worry, how our car comes back home.
Luckily we have an additional insurance with the ADAC (German Automobile Club) which has clarified all this super, so that I could concentrate on my husband, who was then operated in the clinic on Tuesday. It's really not so easy when man / woman doesn't speak the language.
In the end it turned out quite well, my husband is not allowed to put weight on his foot for another three weeks, which means he is only allowed to lie down. So that will take some time.
On Friday the 19th of July a driver of the ADAC drove us home with our car. Through long traffic jams we were at home around half past one at night.
Nevertheless it was again very nice at Lake Garda. Despite the many people it is a beautiful spot. I have added some nice photos.

Die Bilder hat mein Mann gemacht

In der La Maison Victor  Ausgabe 3 vom Mai bis Juni 2019, hat mir ein Kleid, namens Emily gefallen. Leider habe ich ein Problem mit Kleidern. Sie stehen mir einfach nicht mehr. Das hatten wir neulich beim shoppen wieder ausprobiert.
Nun hatte ich noch einen Stoff von Stoffwelten zu liegen, und da habe ich mir gedacht, ok mach Dir ein T-Shirt statt des Kleides. Gesagt getan, beim Ausschnitt habe ich mich leider wie der erste Mensch angestellt, dadurch ist der Stoff leider etwas ausgezogen. 
Der Stoff trägt sich sehr angenehm, ich denke, ich werde das nächste Shirt eine Nummer kleiner nähen. Ich habe die Größe 44 genäht. Auf jedenfall werde ich das Shirt noch einmal nähen. Es hat mir in Italien an den ein oder zwei kühleren Tagen, gute Dienste geleistet.

In La Maison Victor issue 3 from May to June 2019, I liked a dress called Emily. Unfortunately I have a problem with dresses. They just don't look good on me anymore. We tried that again the other day while shopping.
Now I still had a fabric of fabric worlds to lay, and I thought to myself, ok make you a T-shirt instead of the dress. Said done, at the neckline, I unfortunately like the first person, so the fabric is unfortunately a little undressed.
The fabric is very comfortable to wear, I think I will sew the next shirt one size smaller. I sewed size 44. In any case I will sew the shirt again. It has served me well in Italy on the one or two cooler days.

Samstagsplausch 26/19/Saturday Chat

Es ist Zeit für den Samstagsplausch bei Andrea.
Am Samstag waren wir einkaufen und danach habe ich an meinen neuen Rock genäht. Sonntag waren wir auf dem Friedhof. Die Pflanzen haben nach Wasser gerufen.
Montag und Dienstag waren normale Arbeitstage, Montag sind wir mal wieder mit dem Rad zur Arbeit.
Mittwoch konnte ich zum Glück zu Hause arbeiten, das Thermometer ging auf über 39 Grad hoch. Das ist keine Temperatur für mich. Erfrischend waren Donnerstag und Freitag die Temperaturen. Leider wird es am Sonntag wieder so heiß. Mir graut schon davor.
Am Freitag waren wir, Marion, mein Mann und ich das erste Mal zusammen dieses Jahr auf dem Weinfest am Rüdesheimer Platz. Schön war das Magda und Andrea kurz vorbei geschaut haben. Magda ist dann leider mit vielen Mückenstichen belohnt worden. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und viel geredet. Es war ein schöner und entspannter Ausklang der Woche.
Heute werden wir grillen, ansonsten ist nichts geplant. Wahrscheinlich werde ich Sonntag keinen Schritt nach draussen gehen.

 It's time for Saturday chat at Andrea's.
On Saturday we went shopping and afterwards I sewed on my new skirt. Sunday we were at the cemetery. The plants called for water.Monday and Tuesday were normal working days, Monday we went to work by bike again.
Wednesday I was lucky to be able to work at home, the thermometer went up to over 39 degrees. That is no temperature for me. The temperatures were refreshing on Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately it gets so hot again on Sunday. I'm dreading it already.
On Friday we, Marion, my husband and I were together for the first time this year at the wine festival at Rüdesheimer Platz. It was nice that Magda and Andrea stopped by. Unfortunately Magda was then rewarded with many mosquito bites. We ate very well and talked a lot.
Today we will grill, otherwise nothing is planned. Probably I won't take a step outside on Sunday.
