Samstagsplausch 2/20 / Saturday Chat

Wir haben Samstag und treffen uns heute bei Andrea zum Samstagsplausch.
Letztes Wochenende war bei uns sehr ruhig. Montag hatte ich noch frei, ich habe weiter an den Schal für meinen Mann gewebt und etwas Wohnungspflege gemacht. Dienstag startete der erste Arbeitstag im neuen Jahr für mich. Abends waren wir noch beim Sport. Mittwoch und Donnerstag waren normale Arbeitstage. Am Freitag habe ich von zu Hause gearbeitet. Abends waren wir noch in der Stadt, mein Mann wollte sich noch etwas ansehen. 
Heute werde ich meinen Kleiderschrank durch arbeiten, und eine kleine Farbberatung machen. Ich habe neulich einen sehr interessanten Link darüber im Internet gefunden. Ansonsten haben wir nichts geplant. Ich möchte mein Nähzimmer etwas aufräumen und werde den Schal für meinen Mann fertig stellen und wir müssen noch ein paar Fotos machen, denn es sind schon einige Sachen fertig genäht, die es noch nicht aufs Foto geschafft haben.
Viel habe ich heute nicht zu berichten, ich wünsche Euch ein schönes Wochenende.

 It's Saturday and we're meeting at Andrea's house today for Saturday fun.
Last weekend was very quiet for us. Monday I still had time off, I continued to weave the scarf for my husband and did some home care. Tuesday started the first working day of the new year for me. In the evening we went to the gym. Wednesday and Thursday were normal working days. On Friday I worked from home. In the evening we were still in the city, my husband wanted to see something.
Today I will work through my wardrobe and do a little colour consultation. I found a very interesting link about it on the internet the other day. Otherwise we have nothing planned. I would like to tidy up my sewing room a little bit and I will finish the scarf for my husband and we have to take some more photos, because there are already some things finished that haven't made it to the photo yet.
I do not have much to report today, I wish you a nice weekend.

Samstagsplausch 20/1 / Saturday Chat

Ich wünsche Euch ein frohes neues Jahr und hoffe Ihr seid gut gestartet. Ich habe noch ein paar Tage bis, mein Alltag wieder los geht. 
Wir hatten durch eine glückliche Fügung noch eine kleine Auszeit zwischen den Jahren nehmen können und diese haben wir an der Müritz verbracht. Für mich waren es wunderbare Tage, auch wenn das Zimmer durch die Klimaanlage vom Hotel ziemlich laut war. 
Eigentlich wollten wir an die Ostsee aber da ging nichts mehr. Es war alles ausgebucht. Die Müritz ist aber genauso schön.
Am Samstag waren wir im Bärenpark, das ist ein sehr beeindruckender Ort, da dürfen Bären so leben wie sie leben sollten. Leider haben wir nur drei der Bären gesehen, da sie derzeit schlafen. Daher heute ein Bärchen auf meinen Foto.
Silvester haben wir bei unserem Lieblingsitaliener mit einem leckeren Menue verbracht, ab 22:00 Uhr waren wir dann bei uns zu Hause. Uns war nicht so danach durch die Nacht zu laufen und irgendwo zu feiern. So ging das sehr ruhig von statten. Wir wollten Karten spielen aber das haben wir nicht mehr geschafft.
Die kleine Wärmelampe von Scentsy erinnert uns immer an unsere Reise nach Paris vor sieben Jahren. Wie wir diese gesehen haben, meinte mein Mann das wird uns immer an Paris erinnern. Daher sind nun diese für mich wichtigen Dinge heute auf meinem Foto, nicht zu vergessen meine Tasse Kaffee, welche mein Lebenselixier ist.
Seit Donnerstag beschäftige ich mich mit dem Weben des Schals für meinen Mann. Es macht mir unheimlich viel Spaß und ist sehr entspannend. Nebenbei lese ich den zweiten Teil  von die Schwestern vom Ku`damm. Der erste Teil war sehr fesselnd und interessant. Den ersten Teil des Buches konnte ich nicht aus der Hand legen, und das soll zur Zeit schon etwas heißen,  bei meiner Leseblockade
Gestern war endlich mal wieder Sport angesagt. Dann habe ich noch gesehen dass ich bei Modewerkstatt Heike Tschänsch den rot weißen Jerseystoff gewonnen habe. Da habe ich mich sehr gefreut, und noch mehr darüber, dass Marion, Kunzfrau den blau/weißen Jerseystoff gewonnen hat. Ein schöner Start in das neue Jahr.

Die Müritz

Im Bärenwald

 I wish you a happy new year and hope you have made a good start. I still have a few days until my everyday life starts again.
By a lucky coincidence we were able to take a little break between the years and we spent it at the Müritz. For me they were wonderful days, even if the room was quite loud due to the air conditioning in the hotel.
Actually, we wanted to go to the Baltic Sea but there was nothing more possible. Everything was fully booked. But the Müritz is as beautiful.
On Saturday we were in the bear park, that is a very impressive place, there bears are allowed to live as they should live. Unfortunately we only saw three of the bears, because they are sleeping at the moment. Therefore today a little bear on my photo.
We spent New Year's Eve at our favourite Italian restaurant with a tasty menu, from 22:00 o'clock on we were at our home. We did not feel like walking through the night and partying somewhere. So it went very quietly. We wanted to play cards but we didn't manage that anymore.
The little heat lamp from Scentsy always reminds us of our trip to Paris seven years ago. The way we saw it, my husband said it will always remind us of Paris. So now these important things for me are on my photo today, not to forget my cup of coffee, which is my elixir of life.
Since Thursday I am busy weaving the scarf for my husband. It is a lot of fun and very relaxing. By the way I read the second part of The Sisters of the Ku`damm. The first part was very captivating and interesting. I could not put the first part of the book out of my hand, and that should mean something at the moment, with my reading blockade
Yesterday, sport was finally on the agenda again. Then I saw that I won the red and white jersey fabric at Modewerkstatt Heike Tschänsch. I was very happy, and even more happy that Marion, Kunzfrau won the blue/white jersey fabric. A nice start into the new year.

Ein neues Lieblingsteil / A new favorite item

Mein Mann hat mir einen tollen Stoff von Hamburger Liebe  von Albstoffe spendiert, daraus habe ich mir die Jacke nach einem Schnitt von Stoff und Stil genäht. Von diesem Schnitt habe ich bereits eine andere Jacke aus Webware genäht, leider hat es diese noch nicht aufs Foto geschafft.
Endlich hatte ich im Dezember Zeit und konnte mir den Schnitt und Stoff vornehmen. Ich war mir nicht sicher, ob das funktionieren wird, da der Schnitt für Webware bestimmt ist, und der Stoff ein French Terry ist. Aber ich hatte Glück und es hat gut geklappt. Total verzweifelt bin ich an den Knopflöchern. Da meine Maschine nicht mehr so wollte wie ich es versucht habe, zu sehr versucht habe, wollte ich diese beim Stricktreff bei meiner Freundin ihrer Nähmaschine einarbeiten. Das hat überhaupt nicht geklappt, die Maschine hat den Stoff nicht transportiert. 
Am 23. Dezember waren wir bei unseren Nähmaschinenhändler, zur Reparatur meiner Nähmaschine, er hat dies auch sehr gut hinbekommen, vielen Dank noch mal dafür. Wir sind nicht mit leeren Händen gegangen, mein Mann hat mir noch eine tolle Kombimaschine aus Overlock und Coverlock spendiert. Die darf dann hier auch bald einziehen. Freu.
Wieder zu Hause, habe ich weiter an den Knopflöchern gewerkelt. Auf dem Probestück hat alles funktioniert, aber an meiner Jacke leider nicht. So leidlich habe ich es nun hinbekommen. Dank meines Mannes habe ich auch ein Logo, und ich habe es sogar geschafft, es ran zu nähen.
Die Jacke ist toll, sie gefällt mir, ich hatte sie auch schon oft bei unserer kleinen Auszeit zwischen den Jahren, in Klink an der Müritz, an.

My husband gave me a great fabric from Hamburger Liebe von Albstoffe, from which I sewed the jacket after a cut of fabric and style. From this cut I have already sewn another jacket of woven fabric, unfortunately this one has not made it into the photo yet.
Finally I had time in December and could take a look at the cut and fabric. I was not sure if this will work, because the cut is for woven fabric and the fabric is a French Terry. But I was lucky and it worked out well. I am totally desperate about the buttonholes. Because my machine didn't want to work the way I tried, tried too hard, I wanted to work them in at the knitting meeting at my friend's place with her sewing machine. That did not work at all, the fabric did not transport.
On December 23rd we went to our sewing machine dealer, to repair my sewing machine, he managed this very well, thank you again for that. We didn't leave empty-handed, my husband bought me another great combination machine consisting of overlock and coverlock. It will be allowed to move in here soon. I'm glad.
Back home, I continued to work on the buttonholes. On the test piece everything worked, but unfortunately not on my jacket. I have now managed it so badly. Thanks to my husband I have a logo, and I even managed to sew it on.
The jacket is great, I like it, I wore it many times during our little break between the years in Klink an der Müritz.

Samstagsplausch 51/19 / Saturday Chat

 

Heute bin ich wieder dabei beim Samstagsplausch. Ich war die letzten Wochen ziemlich am Ende und habe letzte Woche einfach mal den Plausch bei Andrea ausgelassen. Aber heute möchte ich nicht versäumen Euch allen ein schönes und besinnliches Weihnachtsfest zu wünschen. Ich hoffe Ihr habt nicht so viel Stress mehr und müsst nicht durch die Kaufhäuser huschen. Bei uns wird es heute ruhig, wir werden zwar ein wenig Lebensmittel einkaufen, aber durch die Geschäfte hetzen brauchen wir zum Glück. Wir haben uns zu Weihnachten die Renovierung unserer Wohnung geschenkt.
Am letzten Samstag wollten wir versuchen auf den Weihnachtsmarkt bei uns zu gehen, aber leider hat es nur geregnet und meinen Mann ging es nicht so gut.
Sonntag dagegen hatten wir ein super Wetter, wir wollten zum Fitness, haben aber spontan umgeändert und sind in den Britzer Garten ehemaliges BUGA Gelände gefahren und haben einen langen und erholsamen Spaziergang gemacht. Es war wie Urlaub für die Seele.
Montag und Dienstag waren normale Arbeitstage, ich musste mir noch meinen Kaffee besorgen. Dienstag und Mittwoch hatten wir noch ein Frühstück und ein Entenessen auf Arbeit. Donnerstag war ich zu Hause, da wurden unsere neuen Wohnungstüren eingebaut. Leider hat nicht alles geklappt, eine wurde falsch geliefert. Freitag war der letzte Arbeitstag, und ich war vollkommen erledigt und so froh, dass es ein paar Tage ohne das frühe Aufstehen gibt. Das werde ich genießen. Heute wollen wir auf den Kurfürsten Damm und uns die Beleuchtung dort ansehen, und eventuell gehen wir noch auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt am Charlottenburger Schloß.
Auf meinen oberen Foto könnt ihr ein neues Gestricksel sehen, ab und an muss ich mal etwas anderes stricken. Es soll ein Spüllappen werden. Ich versuche mich an Nachhaltigkeit heran zu arbeiten.

 Today I'm back in the Saturday fun. I was pretty exhausted the last weeks and just skipped the chat with Andrea last week. But today I don't want to miss to wish you all a nice and contemplative Christmas. I hope you don't have so much stress and don't have to rush through the department stores. It will be quiet here today, we will buy some food, but fortunately we need to rush through the shops. For Christmas, we gave ourselves the gift of renovating our apartment.
Last Saturday we wanted to try to go to the Christmas market at our place, but unfortunately it only rained and my husband was not feeling well.
Sunday, on the other hand, we had great weather, we wanted to go to the gym, but we spontaneously changed and went to the Britzer Garten former BUGA area and had a long and relaxing walk. It was like a holiday for the soul.
Monday and Tuesday were normal working days, I still had to get my coffee. Tuesday and Wednesday we had breakfast and a duck dinner at work. Thursday I was at home where our new apartment doors were installed. Unfortunately not everything worked out, one was delivered wrong. Friday was the last day of work and I was completely exhausted and so happy that there are a few days without getting up early. I will enjoy that. Today we want to go to Kurfürsten Damm and have a look at the lighting there, and maybe we'll go to the Christmas market at Charlottenburg Castle.
On my upper photo you can see a new knitting, every now and then I have to knit something different. It should be a dishcloth. I'm trying to work towards sustainability.

Einkaufen mit einem Mesh Beutel

Auch ich versuche mich um mehr Plastik- und Papiervermeidung und habe mir einige Mesh Beutel genäht, mit denen ich auf dem Markt mein Obst einkaufen gehe. Genäht habe ich mir diese nach einer Vorlage von SEWSIMPLE. Gefunden habe ich es über Pinterest.
Das ist sehr gut finde ich, mit Bildern erklärt. Was ich jedoch bei den letzten Beuteln weg gelassen habe ist das Schrägband. Das geht mir noch nicht so gut von der Hand, es ist finde ich schwierig es sehr ordentlich hin zu bekommen. Da muss ich noch mehr üben, aber die Beutel haben mir auch ohne Schrägband gefallen. Es ist eine sehr gute Resteverwertung. Als durchsichtigen Stoff habe ich mir einen Gardinenstoff gekauft. Wir haben keine Gardinen mehr, so musste ich mir den Stoff im Einrichtungshaus kaufen. 
Ich muss sagen, sie haben sich schon sehr gut bewährt, ich bin auch schon von vielen Menschen auf dem Markt angesprochen worden, wo ich solch schöne bunte Beutel herhabe und habe auch einige verschenkt. Die letzten sind letzte Woche an meine Mädels von unseren Stricktreff gegangen. Da gab es auch viel Freude und man tut etwas für die Nachhaltigkeit. Es klappt jetzt auch schon gut, dass ich die Beutel immer dabei habe, wenn ich auf den Markt gehe.

I also try to avoid more plastic and paper and have sewn some mesh bags with which I go to the market to buy my fruit. I sewed them after a pattern from SEWSIMPLE. I found it on Pinterest.
That's very good I think, explained with pictures. But what I left out with the last bags is the slanted ribbon. It's not going so well yet, I find it difficult to get it very neat. There I have to practice even more, but I liked the bags also without sloping tape. It is a very good recycling. As transparent fabric I bought a curtain fabric. We no longer have curtains, so I had to buy the fabric in the furniture store.
I must say, they have already proven themselves very well, I have also already been addressed by many people on the market, where I have such beautiful colorful bags and have also given away some. The last ones went to my girls from our knitting meeting last week. There was a lot of fun and you do something for sustainability. It's already working well that I always have the bags with me when I go to the market.

Samstagsplausch 49/19 / Saturday Chat

Wir haben Wochenende und treffen uns heute bei Andrea zum Samstagsplausch. Meine Woche war eigentlich ziemlich entspannt. Am Samstag waren wir auf dem Markt und haben danach die Wohnung aufgeräumt und versucht alles so zu sichern, das ein noch ganz kleines Mädchen von 20 Monaten sich in unser Wohnung nicht verletzt.
Am Sonntag füllte sich unsere Wohnung mit ganz lieben Kollegen, wir wollten das Plätzchen backen angehen. Mein Mann hat sich um die Kleine gekümmert und so konnten wir uns ganz auf das Backen konzentrieren. Das lange Stehen ist für meinen Mann immer noch nicht so leicht. Das backen hat mir sehr viel Spaß und Freude gemacht.
Montag begann mein Tag zu Hause im Homeoffice, Dienstag und Mittwoch waren normale Arbeitstage. Donnerstag Abend hat der Nikolaus die ganzen Plätzchen auf Arbeit verteilt.
Auch am Nikolaustag war ich im Homeoffice, heute müssen wir noch ein paar Dinge in der Stadt erledigen und dann werde ich mich an meine Nähmaschine setzen und endlich mal wieder nähen. Abends wollen wir eventuelle auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Alt- Marienfelde gehen. Es kommt darauf an wie es meinen Mann geht und wie das Wetter ist.

Das war unser Werk am Sonntag

We have a weekend and meet today at Andrea's for a Saturday chat. My week was actually quite relaxed. On Saturday we were at the market and afterwards we cleaned up the flat and tried to secure everything so that a very little girl of 20 months wouldn't injure herself in our flat.
On Sunday our apartment filled up with dear colleagues, we wanted to start baking the biscuit. My husband took care of the little one and so we could concentrate on baking. The long standing is still not so easy for my husband. Baking was a lot of fun and joy for me.
Monday began my day at home in the home office, Tuesday and Wednesday were normal working days. Thursday evening Santa Claus distributed all the cookies at work.
Also on St. Nicholas day I was in the home office, today we still have a few things to do in the city and then I will sit down at my sewing machine and finally sew again. In the evening we want to go to the Christmas market in Alt- Marienfelde. It depends on how my husband is and what the weather is like.

Als ich bei Hamburger Liebe eine Vorschau ihrer Stoffcollection gesehen hatte, habe ich mich in diesem Stoff verliebt. Der Weekender-Alfama  von Albstoffe wanderte also in mein neues Nähzimmer. Entstanden ist eine Liv von Pattydoo.
Geändert habe ich die taillierte Weite, es ist somit ein gerader Schnitt geworden. 
Den Halsauschnitt habe ich mit einem Webband versäubert, das gefällt mir derzeit sehr gut.
Beim nächsten Shirt werde ich am Ausschnitt noch etwas verändern, er ist mir zu ausgeschnitten geworden.
Das Shirt wird zu einen meiner Lieblingstrageteile werden. Nun haben wir es auch endlich geschafft Fotos zu machen.

When I saw a preview of her fabric collection at Hamburger Liebe, I fell in love with the fabric. So Albstoffe's Weekender-Alfama wandered into my new sewing room. The result was a Liv by Pattydoo.
I changed the waisted width, so it became a straight cut.
I cleaned the neckline with a woven ribbon, which I like very much at the moment.
With the next shirt I will change the neckline a bit, it has become too cut for me.
The shirt will become one of my favourite parts to wear. Now we have finally managed to take photos.
